Bike & Pedestrian Safety Event hosted by Lakewood Police Department, the Lakewood Civilian Safety Watch and the Rothenberg Law Firm is coming up this Friday, the day after Shavuos, Friday, June 2, 2017. The Event will take place from 11:45am-4:00pm at an all new location, the North Side of the Lakewood Lake at the area of the Band Stand. Rain date is the following Friday, June 9, 2017.
Event coordinators are urging all kids and adults to bring their bikes to the event to be registered. Proper registration of a bike serves as a deterrent to bike thieves and is the only hope of recovery if a bicycle is stolen. “Bikes are precious to their owners, let’s take every measure to ensure that they remain with them”.
This year’s event will include so many attractions and giveaways, way too numerous to mention. Suffice it to say that Lakewood will be treated to a safety event that will be enjoyable and informative to the whole family in a beautiful setting and event coordinators cannot wait to welcome you all personally on June 2!
Your safety is priority!
