PHOTOS & VIDEO: Law Enforcement Officials from around Ocean County gathered this morning to take part in the Annual Ocean County annual Law Enforcement Memorial Day Service honoring the fallen officers of Ocean County.
The event is one of several events held during this National Police Week.
The annual event, which took place in Ocean County Park, was hosted by the Ocean County Chiefs of Police Association in conjunction with the Ocean County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
The ceremony featured several speeches, heartfelt musical compositions and the reading of the names of the fallen officers around Ocean County.
After reading the names of those who made the ultimate sacrifice, the families of the fallen officers each placed a fresh rose at the Police Memorial to serve as an everlasting memory. TLS
