Shabbos afternoon around 1:30, but since we don’t do it Friday night…….

I thought its assur to take a picture of sun or moon by themselves?

You can do it on Shabbos Bsha’as Hadchak by reading it from the Gemora as if learning (I think its’s in Mesechta Shabbos somewhere).
