An impressive crowd braved the wet roads last night and filled the auditorium of the Lakewood Courtyard. These educators, principals and parents gathered to hear about the Arrowsmith Learning program, and how it can help their children/ students to succeed in school. The program consisted of several presentations, as well as first-hand testimonials from a teacher who currently works with the program at Bais Yaakov of Boro Park, and a Lakewood bachur who was helped by the program, and is currently learning in Monsey. The Arrowsmith program was developed by an educator in Canada, and is purported to help students who are struggling academically, by strengthening areas of the brain, thus enabling the students to reach their full potential, and make tremendous progress in all areas (Kriah, Chumash, Gemara,reading, math, writing, etc.).To find out more about this program and how you can bring it into your Lakewood school, you can contact Mrs. Joselit 267-760-6901 or Mrs. Fraedl Flaishman 917-557-4814.
