  1. No change = no good.

Certain positions need new faces every so often – and this is one of them..

Can’t wait for all the complaints when property taxes get home in a few months.

You people did it to yourselves.

  2. This is very upsetting but, truthfully, I cant complain: I didnt vote. I was busy w/ pre-Yom-Tov prep & didnt make it. If I didnt vote I cant complain. Sigh.

  3. Just because a candidate promises no raised taxes doesn’t mean he will implement. It’s easy to promise but then reality sinks in that something’s gotta give: less police officers, higher property taxes, less bussing. People have to realize that in order to balance a budget, there is sometimes difficult decisions. I think the current committeemen have done a good job in trying to ensure minimal waste of money

  4. Steve has been a fighter the good of the Lakewood population even before he took office. He is the right person to fight to lower our taxes and make sure that our town is safe And sound

  5. What’s wrong with #5’s comment. Hello! The government is broke on every level. No matter what any politician tells you there is only one answer: raise taxes to maintain the same level of services or cut the services.
