Lakewood’s Atlantic coast, Leisure Chateau & Fountainview announce they are suspending in-person visitations due to coronavirus fears

Atlantic coast, Leisure Chateau & Fountainview have released the following statement today:

Considering the very serious nature of the Covid-19 virus and the potential effect it can have on the elderly and immunocompromised population, the Federal Government has issued strict guidelines to Nursing Homes.

These guidelines require facilities to restrict visitation that is not medically necessary. Atlantic Coast, Leisure Chateau and Fountainview Care Centers have joined together to follow a unified visitation protocol.

Beginning today, Thursday, March 12, we are suspending in-person visitation to the entire facility, including long term and rehabilitation units/floors except in special circumstances, such as end-of-life situations & medical necessity.

Our staff and vendors entering our facilities will undergo screenings as an additional measure to keep our residents safe. Phone and video calls to our patients are always welcome. If family members have any questions, they can contact the facility for more information.
