Lakewood woman wins $4 Million in lottery

A Lakewood woman won $4 million dollars in a Mega Millions lottery.

Lottery officials announced that Renae LaPrete, 65, of Lakewood, claimed a $4 million Mega Millions prize from the drawing held on Friday, June 29, 2018. The winning ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers, but did not match the Mega Ball.

LaPrete purchased her winning ticket at Publix, located at 95 US Highway 1 in Jupiter, Florida. The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus commission for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
