Dozens of Lakewood Volunteers, Township Officials to pay respect to Victor Lugo, one of the 4 accident victims [UPDATED]

The funeral services for Victor Lugo will be taking place today, Sunday.

Victor was a respected DPW employee, and well-liked by residents and organizations throughout Lakewood.

As a show of respect for his service to the Town, at approximately 1:30 PM on Sunday, the family procession will make its way down Avenue of Americas, and stop in front of the DPW headquarters. There, Lakewood volunteers, Township Officials and other residents will line up to pay their respects to Victor. The stop will last approximately 60 seconds. Civilians welcome.

Avenue of Americas will be shut from New Hampshire Avenue to through traffic. There will be access to the shops.

Parking will be available in the DPW grounds. Officials will direct traffic.

Visitation will take place from 3-5 PM at the Calvary Lighthouse, 133 East County Line Road, followed by the funeral service at 5 PM.

Between 6-8:30 PM the family will be at Lake Terrace for the community to stop by and offer condolences. (There will be Kosher food.)
