The Lakewood Development Corporation, the administrative arm of the Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ), in partnership with the Lakewood Community Services Corporation (LCSC) is pleased to announce the “The Business Link”. It represents the first of a series of networking events for Lakewood businesses.

The event to be held Wednesday, May 21, 2014, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Reception Gallery of the Historic Strand Theater located at 400 Clifton Avenue, Lakewood and will include special guest speaker, Mr. Allan Glazer, CEO of AHG Consulting who will briefly present “Networking – Are You Maximizing Your Business Potential?”.

“This topic is a great way to introduce this method of marketing one’s business to our Lakewood entrepreneurs,” according to Patricia Komsa, Executive Director of the development corporation and the UEZ coordinator. “Networking events present a unique opportunity for business owners and managers to create brand awareness, establish one’s self as an expert, provide word of mouth advertising and build strong working relationships.” The event will also feature a food tasting by Yapchik, a new Lakewood restaurant and UEZ business.
