Lakewood Twp. Planning Board Approves Hatzolah CJ Headquarters Site Plan

The Lakewood Township Planning Board has approved the site plan tonight that will allow Hatzolah of Central Jersey to construct their new headquarters off of Cedar Bridge Avenue.

“We would like to thank all the parties involved for all their continued support,” Hatzolah said. “We look forward to the groundbreaking and construction of this beautiful building.”

As first reported by TLS, the planned state of the art headquarters, which will cover Lakewood, Howell, Brick, Toms River, Jackson, and Manchester Townships, will include a training center, offices, ambulance wash bay, a mechanics bay, and more, allowing Hatzolah to continue serving the fast growing communities included in their jurisdiction.

The new headquarters, which will include a state of the art dispatch and crisis management center, will also house 6 ambulances and several medic response vehicles. There will be a night watch team room and support center for the critical Shabbos team.

The facility has been made possible through a generous donation from philanthropist Reb Yonoson Strasser, a long-time supporter of Hatzolah and many other Jewish causes.

  1. Yay! Is there any other sect in the world that can collect millions upon millions week in week out?!? Simply NO. I am so honoured by the amount of care and achdus our community has that there’s hundreds of fundraisers a week with a 99% success rate. Every yid especially in lakewood should be so happy that there is so much giving

  2. Everyone relax, a few points it does not say the entire building was donated by yonoson strasser because that is simply not true. R’ Yonoson donated $1,000,000. Why are people crying about a Hatzolah Building that klal yisroel will benefit from? There is definitl a need. I promise you only good will come out of this building. What happens when it snows shovel the bus/rig out and then boom it snows again ok so you shovel it out again… The entire day you’re busy shoveling, serious things happen in Lakewood on a daily basis that we all know of, now when you’re running Hatzolah you can talk.
We just have to be thankful that we have such an amazing organization in Lakewood, running Hatzolah is not easy there are allot of decisions some you will lake and some not. There is know way to make everyone happy.

Just be glad we have Hatzolah!

May we all never need Hatzolah and all live ad-120”

  3. you guys are missing the point, all crying about the cost of tuition for most families in Lakewood, BUT every mosed needs the state of the art buildings, not trying to say that every mosed is not just as important, but why are the most expensive structured building needed
