Lakewood Township Reorganization Meeting date set

The Lakewood Township has set a date for the Reorganization meeting.

The annual meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 1, at 11 AM at the Township’s Municipal Building.

During the meeting, Committeeman Meir Lichtenstein (D) and Deputy Mayor Menashe Miller (R) will be sworn in to the Township Committee after winning reelection.

Also during the meeting, the position of Mayor for 2019 will be voted on by the five-member committee. Mayor Ray Coles has served as Mayor for the past two years.

The December 27 Township Committee meeting has been cancelled.
