The following alert was sent out by the Township this morning: Winter Weather Advisory 1/20/2012. DPW is gearing up. There is a chance we are expecting a possible accumulation of an inch of snow for the morning commute. Residents are advised to have on hand shovels, salt, etc. Please drive with caution.

if they didn’t warn you, you would complain, so better at least that they warned you and you can mock and complain about that. Thanks for the heads up, twp committee and DPW. some of us DO appreciate the effort to keep us advised and protected.

If an inch is all we get lets enjoy the panic and confusion it can cause. It might be the only “storm” we get this year, enjoy the fun.

Whent they don’t inform us we complain, then they give us a warning and we complain. All this is, is a reminder to think about being prepared. have we gotten so callose that we are critical to every attempt by DPW to work w/our community. Your negative comments are just wrong.

in the mid west and Canada with 1 foot of snow they clear the roads faster than Lakewood does with 4 inches

Good news, it’s a gift from Hashem, like we say in davening, “Hanosan sheleg katzomer.” Snow is a blanklet for the earth and crops grow better as a result.

Oh yay! Finally, some snow! I hope that it falls on a Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday, cause that’s when I have university, and I would so much rather they cancelled instead of having to go in.
