Lakewood to Get Some Snow Before Pesach

Lakewood will be getting a bit of snow before Pesach, according to the National Weather Service. Snow will begin after midnight tonight, with temperatures around the mid-thirties.

Monday morning, Lakewood is expected to see rain and snow in the morning, with accumulation of about an inch. Some forecasts are predicting more. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent tonight, and 80 percent tomorrow, the Service says.

Monday evening, snow is likely – mainly in the evening. Additional light snow accumulation possible. Chance of snow 70 percent.

It’s not the first time we’ve had snow erev Pesach. I remember a seder night snow storm, and heavy snow the first day of yom tov with warm thawing weather at the end of yom tov. This time of year you can expect three seasons in one week.

one forecast is predicting 6 to 10 inches of snow, if that does occur what happens with the burning of the chometz tomorrow, just wondering as im not jewish

#2, you can make a fire in the snow, so no problem with burning chometz tomorrow (unless it’s a blizzard).
