Lakewood School District partners with local agencies to conduct Nasal Swab Testing for students

The Lakewood School District has announced it has partnered with local agencies to conduct nasal swab testing for Covid.

The DIstrict says they’ve partnered with Chemed and OHI to conduct Nasal Swab Testing every two weeks “to ensure the safety of ALL students, staff and their families.”

“Children and adults may be asymptomatic, and spread the virus unknowingly to teachers, parents and grandparents,” the District said. “It is up to YOU to do your part to stop the spread of the virus in the Lakewood School District Community.”

    • Its not right to the students to make them go through this humiliating and uncomfortable procedure just for the right to go to school when there currently are very few cases in this town.

Who will take responsibility if it proves to be less than perfectly clean… just think – nasal droplets at the school nurse station… sorry would want my kid to have to have that.
