trackA tracking device installed in a Lakewood resident’s ‎vehicle proved worthwhile after his vehicle was stolen as he was loading groceries into it.

The victim tells TLS he was loading groceries into his vehicle at a Jackson supermarket on Thursday night when he turned his back for a moment. It was those few seconds that a thief jumped into the car and drove off.

But with a tracking device installed in his vehicle for a couple hundred dollars at CSO Radio, the victim said he wasn’t too worried.

It turns out the suspect apparently noticed the two-way dashcam in the windshield, and decided to dump the car when he realized he was probably being watched.
