About fifteen Lakewood residents will be joining Rich Roberts in an Executive Round Table group at this week’s Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida. The group, which consists of about 75 members of the Republican Governors Association, is from the most exclusive, high cost and wealthy group at the convention.
“Our mission is to do a Kiddish Hashem”, Rich Roberts, a high profile Republican supporter, writes TLS. “We will accomplish our mission by just being there and behaving in a frum manner.”
Rich and the group were invited to several high profile gatherings and luncheons during their stay, some which Rich declined and suggested his group decline due to the atmosphere of the events.
One of the general events, a Rock n’ Roll concert, is one of the events Rich declined to attend.
“GOP Conventions Events is having a “Two Step, Soul & Rock n’ Roll” event. We are invited, but attending a “Rock n’ Roll” event is contradictory to our mission”, says Rich.
I hope they bring their waders and raincoats as I am gonna rain on their convention…………..
Kosher food? ………I hear they are cooking up a “STORM”!!
