How many more times will we continue to be preyed upon, taken advantage of & scammed because learning how the outside world operates is “Not Heimish”?
All the Rabbanim need to come out with a unified voice for education on these matters.
They just had a major education event in Boro Park a month ago, but they should do it in Lakewood, too.
Scammers used to call me but I told them that they reached a funeral home and they never called me again
They are scamming EVERYONE!!!! Not just one community or religious group…EVERYONE! They get smarter every day!
Every Lakewood resident is scammed out of 30% of their paycheck every time we pay our taxes. Pray for geula!
Anytime you are asked to convert any money into Bitcoin or any crypto currency that is a sure fire wat to know your being scammed.
Are people that naive and stupid???
I have had jury duty 4 times in ocean county over the last 20 years and have had to call the jury administer after my mother received a legit juror notification a year after she passed away. I was on vacation when my brother called me saying that she received the notice. I called them up and explained everything and they were very pleasant to work with — always call the official town/county/state/federal number not any number a scammer gives you. Be nice and explain everything and they will either tell you it’s a scam or work with you if something happened.
Thank you for your important information.
