A resident reported being robbed at gunpoint in Lakewood last night, police confirm to TLS.

The victim, a resident of a local assisted living home, tells police he was walking in the area of 6th Street and Clifton Avenue at approximately 9 PM when he was approached by a man brandishing a handgun, demanding his money.

The victim reportedly handed over his wallet and money, police said.

A description of the vehicle was unavailable, but police said he fled in a vehicle.

Lakewood’s Detective Bureau is investigating.
