A Lakewood Real Estate manager found his tenant dead in apparent homicide in his apartment in Trenton in what may be a drug-deal gone bad, TLS has learned. At about 10:00 AM on Monday, a worker going to complete a work-order knocked several times before unlocking and entering an apartment, not realizing he’s entered a murder scene.
Upon opening the door, the worker found an approximately 30 year old wheelchair-bound man lying on the ground, but was still unsure what occurred.
“He called me on the radio and said he either passed out or he’s dead”, the Lakewood manager tells TLS.
After phoning police, the manager headed over to the apartment where he found the man partially bent over, with blood around him.
Police and Paramedics arrived moments later, and pronounced the man dead at the scene. A relative said the victim suffered several stab wounds to his chest and head area.
The victim, who lived with his mother, became a quadriplegic after being shot in 1998 in an apparent drug-deal. He was wheelchair-bound since.
The worker who made the discovery was taken to police headquarters for questioning, which lasted several hours.
Initial investigations are leading officials to believe that the suspect and victim knew each other and that the suspect had access to the apartment, which showed no signs of forced entry.
The apartment building was taped off till about 11:00 PM, the manager says. TLS.
What has this got to do with lakewood..?
Why is this newsworthy? Did the manager save a life? stop a crime? is he a Hero?
This is a daily occurrence in property management! I personally walked in on dead people in apartments more than once- nothing new or newsworthy!
PATHETIC!

What a pathetic story. You would think after he was shot and paralyzed from the waist down he would leave the world of crime ???? But no he needed to end up dead in his own home

Slumlord may need to give a free months rent to get it rented out. So sorry.
it has to do with Lakewood because this happens her too !
the gangs are all over the place
Slumlords are in the business of providing crime to our neighborhoods. This is just part of his job.
whats very disturbing is thier are many frum home owners that have houses in frum sections with our kids playing outside or walking home from school for example areas of longbranch deal and they rent it out to section 8 poeple that bring drugs and crime in the thing they should think about before worrying about the dollar they will make is put yourself in the possition of having these low lifes as your nieghbors and decide if you want to rent to them at least help protect killal yisroel
to fellow yid (#12) just to advise you it is not section 8 people that bring drugs and crime into an area it is narrow minded people like yourself – people who don’t see society as the cause. Section 8 people are not low lifes – low life people are those that are ignorant and pass judgement on an entire group of people for some people getting into trouble. you know, people like yourself…
