Lakewood Public Schools: Enrichment Activities In Jeopardy

Lakewood School District: Thanks to a Township Grant more than 700 public school students had the privilege of receiving additional instruction after school in a wide variety of topics spanning writing instruction, to theater, to ballet.

It should be noted, that all of these activities are closely monitored and taught by dedicated certified staff and align with New Jersey Core Curriculum.

The activities allow children to receive much-needed instruction and supervision, helping both the students, parents, and the entire community at large.

The activities operate at all grade levels and are open to all children who reside in Lakewood.

At this time, unfortunately, the school district has been advised by the Mayor that these clubs will not be funded for next year.
