TLS has learned that the Lakewood Board of Education security contract RFP (Request for Proposal) is under review and investigation.

Sources have advised TLS that the RFP for security to possibly replace the district’s current security team led by John Stillwell, is “riddled with problems starting from a poorly written RFP and response times that are not practical.”

At least two local companies have filed letters with the Board as to the serious issues that adversely affect the children and the taxpayer.
