WANTED PERSON

May 18, 2024, at 4 p.m., Officer Matthew McAvoy patrolled in the area of 1st. & Madison Avenue at the muster station and observed Raul Reyes-Aguilar, 25, from Lakewood, N.J. from previous encounters. Dispatch confirmed an active warrant, and he was subsequently arrested.

Officers Jon Pederson, Felix Rivera, Joseph Soriano, and Connor Woods assisted in the investigation.

DWI

May 15, 2024, at 1 a.m., Officer Daniel Hourigan responded to the area of Main Street for a male party sleeping behind the wheel. The officer located the vehicle described by dispatch. Santos Lemus, 47, from Lakewood, N.J. was arrested for DWI and charged with related offenses.

Sgt. Christopher Garretson and Officers Leomaxi Dilone, Nicholas Romeo, and Wendell Hunter assisted in the investigation.

ASSAULT AGGRAVATED / POLICE OFFICER

May 18, 2024, at midnight, Officer Bryan Vega responded to NJT for an intoxicated male being disorderly. The officers located Manuel Romero-Olivera, 24, from Howell, N.J., to be under the influence and belligerent. First Aid was called to the scene to render medical attention for his intoxication, before Manuel was taken to the hospital, he became combative and assaulted the Police Officers. He was subsequently arrested for Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer and charged with related offenses.
