lpd narcanLakewood Police officers used the Narcan antidote to revive two drug overdose patients, Detective Greg Staffordsmith confirms to TLS.

At approximately 10:30 PM on January 31, Officer Brandon Burkhardt was dispatched to an East County Line Road home for a 27 year old male suffering a possible drug overdose.

Emergency personnel on scene also administered Narcan to the 43 year old of Toms River.

“Both patients were successfully revived and were transported to Monmouth Medical Southern Campus for further evaluation,” Staffordsmith said.
