Lakewood Police track down, arrest man who exposed himself to people in parking lot

Lakewood police officers tracked down and arrested a man accused of exposing himself to people in a parking lot, police said today.

On October 2nd, at approximately 9:45pm, Officers Ganley and Grant responded to 1700 Madison Avenue for the report of a male exposing himself to people in the parking lot.

When the Officers arrived on scene, they learned that the suspect had left the area in a vehicle prior to their arrival.

The witnesses in the area described the suspect as a younger Hispanic male and were able to provide a license plate for the suspect vehicle. 

On October 4, Officer Kevin Martin of the Lakewood Police Department’s Detective Bureau arrested and charged, Gerardo Santiago-Velazquez, 31, of Lakewood with Lewdness in connection with the October 2nd incident.

Gerardo Santiago-Velazquez was released on a summons pending a future court hearing.

  1. Likely is brother’s, great-grandfather’s, niece’s name and address. What a joke. Hold him for 3 days, like this he won’t be able to work for $15 an hour, tax free. That’ll cost him, and teach him not to do it again. Court summons, bahaha!!
