narcanFor the third time in just weeks, a drug overdose victim was revived with Narcan, police confirm to TLS.

Just after 11 PM last night, Officers Anthony Caraballo and Dennis Scannel were dispatched to the area of Marshall Street and Erica Road for the possible drug overdose of a male in a van, Detective Sergeant Greg Staffordsmith said.

It was determined that the victim had overdosed on Heroin.

“Upon arrival, Officer Scannell administered Narcan to the victim who was unresponsive,” Staffordsmith says.

Within several minutes, the victim became responsive and was transported to Monmouth Medical Southern Campus for further evaluation, Staffordsmith said.

  1. How many times has this person been revived? Tax dollars spent reviving abusers, people that will continue to do drugs until unfortunately they do it one too many times.

  2. unfortunately you are true lakewood taxpayer..but it’s not for us to say who gets how much of the Narcan and as a responder we can not pick and choose who we give and not give narcan no matter how many times we do it.

  3. Seriously? You’re worried about tax dollars and you say another drug addict back on the street? I hope no one you love ends up overdosed or dead. You obviously have no experience with this subject. I pity you
