Police Unity Bike Tour Makes Its Way Through Lakewood, Passes Sites Of Fallen Officers

Police unity bike tour matlosz siteVIDEO & PHOTOS (Updated 10:55 a.m) This morning, 4 Lakewood Police Officers joined in the Police Unity Tour, a 150 mile bike tour to honor fallen officers. The primary purpose of the Police Unity Tour is to raise awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty. The secondary purpose is to raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial and Museum.

The 4 Lakewood officers to ride this year, are officer David Sussman, retired officer Glenn Bressan, officer Pete LaRosa, officer Tom D’Elia and wife of William Preslar, Mrs. Lisa Preslar. There were a a total of over 100 riders, at this point of the tour.

The group made three local stops along the way including at the site where Trooper Marc K. Castellano was killed, the site where Chris Matlosz was killed, and the site where William Preslar died. TLS.
