[SCHEDULE BELOW] Several Lakewood Police Officers are joining hundreds of other law enforcement members from around New Jersey and beyond in the annual Police Unity Tour.

The Police Unity Tour is a four-day bike tour to Washington, D.C. that honors law enforcement officers who died while on duty, and at the same time raises funds for the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial.

Lakewood Police Officers Vega, Buble and D’Elia will be taking part in the ride this year.

The group will arrive in Lakewood approximately 10:30 AM, and will make several stops before departing at approximately Noon.

The ride will take the officers to the National Law Enforcement Officers memorial, where the names of the fallen officers are read from an inscribed wall.
