PHOTO: Lakewood police officer involved in accident

An on-duty Lakewood police officer was involved in an accident on Wednesday, police confirm.

Officer Renna was reportedly responding to a call against the light at the intersection on Second Street and Madison Avenue at approximately 8 PM when he collided with another vehicle.

The officer and other driver were hospitalized with minor injuries, police said.

I would like to clarify some information:
First of all the cop was not responding to a call it rather he was potroeling the area.
Secondly the cop did not collide with the other car, the other car went thru a red light, and crashed into the cop
