Question:
Hi Chief Mayor, would it be possible to get a crossing guard to help with traffic on Friday late-morning/ early afternoon when schools are letting out? The backups on Williams are pretty bad.
Thank you

The Chief’s response:
We will do our best, but we are limited with our crossing guards due to recent retirements and illnesses. We do have job openings if you know of anyone interested, even if just for this one day or area.
Thanks

Shoutout the crossing guard at Williams and James every morning. She does an excellent job!
Gets me to work 10 minutes earlier 🙂
To Police Chief Greg Meyer,
The biggest concern that I have right now is that, normally, when I write about a certain problem or a certain complaint that I have, I start off by writing, ‘My chief problem, or my chief complaint is etc.’ However, if I write that to the Chief of Police, which is YOU, you might think I’m complaining about YOU, when I’m only referring to a chief complaint or problem that I have, and not a person.
How do I solve this problem?……
……Okay, never mind, after many hours of deep contemplation, I came up with a solution of my own.
From now on, I’m going to start off by writing, ‘My main problem, or my first and foremost complaint is etc.’ I think that solves the first and foremost concern that I had right now. Thanks.
You need more Guards the one who works on Rt88 & Park ave. Not like the guy who worked Rt88 & Congress St over the summer who sleeps in his Blue car all morning.
