At the last BOE meeting, is was recommended by the Board members that residents be allowed to file complaints to the Board of Transportation department, electronically. Up until now, complaints had to be made by filling out a sheet and handing it in to the department. Now, parents who wish to file a complaint about a bus driver or other Transportation issues, can do so by sending an email to [email protected].
Additionally, Board of Education member Isaac Zlatkine tells TLS he is working on a system where parents can send a Text Message to the Board as well, to accommodate those who do not have access to email. TLS.
I thought the Lakewood schools don’t allow kids in to their schoolif they have Internet! And didn’t the yeshiva assur text messaging?!?!?!
enough with the false faces. Almost everyone uses both now days. That battle is over. Where we go from here is the real issue. Hats off for finally acting like we’re in the 21st century.
to # 1: Get a life, i’m sure your one of those guys who grew up with out a VCR bec you were a “frum” family and cos vesholmom had one, but now i’m sure you have a computer in your home which had a DVD drive, WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE!! point is we need it and you must have a filter or your oyver on yichd as many rabbonem have said that to be with internet without a filter is like yichud!! guard your self and don’t trust yourself till the day you die!!
If you can text, you can email, at least on most phones. You just type in anemail address instead of a phone #. Hope this helps.
The BOE is changing, the administration is changing. Lakewood has made a turn in the right direction. Lets us all be proud that hopefully we will have passing schools. We have players who care about all the children for once.
