Question:
Dear Honorable Mayor Coles
Is there any possibility that You could have a piece of the corner Vine and pine removed To make it easier for the cars to make a right Turn on to Pine? I see this has been done at other intersections and I think it would be a great Improvement.
Thank you
Marvin
Response from Mayor Coles:
Hi Marvin
We are widening Pine next year and they will include redesigning that intersection.
I will ask public works to see if we can do something in the meantime.
Thanks for writing
Ray
Question:
Thank you for your hard work on behalf of Lakewood.
The attached pictures are at the intersection of Cedarbridge and new Hampshire at 545 pm. Evenings, No turning lights most lights. In the above pictures, a whole light passed and not one of the 8 or so cars was able to turn. As someone who drives through this intersection multiple times every day, I would also venture to say, the turning light is too short. By the time the 3rd vehicle is turning, it’s already red.
Thank you for you consideration on this matter.
Response from Mayor Coles:
Good morning. I also travel that intersection several times most days. I will ask the county engineer to look at the turn light timings

Question:
Thank you for this forum. Clover Ave is backed up every day from beginning to end (cedarbridge through route 88) it can take 20 minutes to get through. Can they make no parking near the development at the end of cedarbridge and extend the right turning lane? Or extend Vine to route 88? something must be done.
Response from Mayor Coles:
The county and state are both working on the intersections of Clover at both 88 and Cedarbridge.

WHEN WILL TRAFFIC LIGHT AT OAK AND 9 BE PUT UP????????
Maybe cedarbridge and New Hampshire. Should be like, ocean and new hamshire?
And ya. Make a left there can be time consuming.
There is already no parking at the end of clover by 88 but since there is a large shoulder they park anyway between the first and second no parking signs.
