I live in the Pawnee neighborhood off of county line. Coming from Lakewood there is no way to turn in to our neighborhood. There isn’t even a jug handle to turn around. One has to travel until the next intersection in order to utilize the jug handle there. I know that it is a complex intersection as it is a county road and it is on the border of Jackson and Lakewood. I had a possible idea though which may help. If they were to “move” the intersection back (making the stop light 30 feet to the east) there is a potential to have a left turning light there.
Response from Mayor Coles:
I will ask our engineer to meet with the county to discuss this idea.
