Question:
Hi,
Is there a way to get the traffic signal timings re-evaluated at New Hampshire Avenue corner Pine Street? For those traveling east on Pine street, it can take 2-3 lights to cross New Hampshire due to the ridiculously short green light. I pass there each day, and I find that the light allows for the crossing of 10 or so cars (less, if there is a bus or truck involved) per green light when the line to cross is so much longer.
Thanks,
Eli
Response from Mayor Coles:
Good morning
This is a fairly common issue with lights in different parts of town. I have sat at that same light many times as well. I have reached out to the county to request the timing be adjusted.
Thanks
Ray

Question:
Hi,
Is it possible to have a left turning lane on Cedarbridge at the Clover intersection going towards Bricktown? Traffic gets very bottlonecked there and there seems to be plenty of space to make a left turning lane.
Thank you
Response from Mayor Coles:
Good morning. This is one of several intersections on Cedarbridge that we have asked the county to widen & improve. We waiting on their timetable for construction.
Thanks
Ray

We need to widen all the roads. And provide turning lanes.all over town..
Pine street and New Hampshire sensors need to be fixed too. It always gives a turning tight to turn from New Hampshire to Pine Street or Oberlin even if there are no cars there waiting to turn. Just a waste of time for everyone.
Left turn new hampshire north to cedarbridge west not long enough during morning rush. Needs to be extended especially 8 – 10 am
