Lakewood Mayor Ray Coles responds to your ‘Ask The Mayor’ questions: Township Jobs

The following is an ‘Ask The Mayor’ question submitted to TLS, and the Mayor’s response. Email your questions for the Mayor to [email protected].

Question:

Dear Mr. Mayor,

I have been thinking about getting a job working for the Township. However there no information online or on the Township website on which jobs are available for hire. Is there a way I can access that information so I can better determine which job is right for me and apply?

Thanks!

An Unemployed resident

Response from Mayor Coles:

Good morning Sam,

Please go to the Manager’s Office in Town Hall. You can fill out an application there & they will try to place you in an appropriate opening if and when one occurs. It would be helpful to bring a resume and cover letter which indicates what type of position you are looking for. You should also reach out to the LCSC (Lakewood Community Services Corp.) which works with the township to help residents gain employment. Best of luck in your job search.

Ray
