Question:
There is an intersection where the no parking needs better marking. On Clover at the end by Cederbridge there are 3 no parking signs one at the corner with the arrow pointed back one in the middle where the shoulder ends pointing both ways and one further back pointed towards the corner. The problem is that the shoulder continues from the first sign to the second sign so cars park between those 2 signs. The shoulder should be eliminated there and end by the first sign and the curb marked.
A second thing is, there are 2 intersections that need a don’t block the box marking and enforcement, the intersection of River and James/Pine and the intersection of County Line Rd and Clifton where drivers consistently block the intersection not allowing cross traffic to go.
Response from Mayor Coles:
Hi Yechezkel,
We are working with the county to improve the traffic flow at Clover & Cedarbridge.
I will ask engineering to contact the county about the “Don’t Block The Box” markings at those 2 intersections
Thanks for keeping in touch.
Ray
