Question:

This is about the 3rd or 4th notice, I am letting you know that there are still water puddles along the route on route 9 walkway along the water close to south lake drive. There is tremendous improvement, however, the job is not finished. Please let the proper party involved see these pictures so they could complete the job. Thanking you in advance The puddles make it very difficult to walk bike etc.

Response from Mayor Coles:

Good morning,

We are not allowed to fully pave this area due to state regulations. Regular maintenance is required, especially after the winter or periods of heavy rain which can cause the millings and gravel to disburse. Public Works will be out there on Friday night making repairs to allow better drainage and leveling out the path. They will be working around the entire lake in the coming weeks.
