Question:

Good morning Mr. Mayor,

Not sure who deserves the ‘blame’, if it is you please take it, if it is not please direct me to the one whom deserves it. Just a HUGE THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart (and car) for repaving New Hampshire Ave from North maple in Toms River until Route 70 in Lakewood. Not sure if you had the opportunity to drive there recently, but navigating this lunar landscape and trying to avoid falling into a sinkhole, or worse find your engine ripped out from beneath you has been a nightmare. Yes I have been accused of driving drunk, which was the only way in which to navigate this road. Much to my delight one day last week a convoy of trucks pulled up, and over the course of 2 consecutive nights, voila a brand new pristine road has replaced the lunar landscape. Thank you so much for not only repaving the road, but for doing it overnight so as not to inconvenience anyone more than absolutely necessary especially during this super busy holiday week.

Hi Moshe,

I was actually on New Hampshire early this morning and marveled at the new paving myself! The majority of the thanks goes to the Ocean County Road Department for doing such a great job. A bit of the thanks goes to our engineering department, police department & Committeeman Lichtenstein who all work very hard to make sure these roads get paved with as little disruption to our residents as possible.
