Question:

Dear Mayor Coles,

I live in a senior development in Lakewood and we have a serious problem with non functioning street lights. Several of our lights have not been functioning (some for months or longer) and despite repeated complaints to JCP&L nothing is done to address this problem. The lights remain out and we get no feedback from JCP&L whatsoever. Some of our streets are very dark and pose a serious safety concern for our residents, even more so because we are senior citizens.

Earlier today I saw on The Lakewood Scoop that you had a meeting with representatives from JCP&L regarding this very issue elsewhere in Lakewood and I’m hoping you can bring our problem to their attention as well.
