Question:
Dear Mayor Ray Coles,
Hello and thank you for your ongoing support and assistance in improving our community.
First of all, I would like to extend my gratitude for the installation of proper benches at Hearthstone Park. These benches have significantly enhanced the comfort and enjoyment of the park for residents.
As you are probably aware, Hearthstone Park is one of the only proper parks in the region, serving over a dozen nearby neighborhoods, including Hearthstone, Beacon, High Point, Prospect Park, High Street, Sterling Place, Sterling Forest, Regency, Chateau Park, Chateau Woods, Presidential Estates, and Oak & Vine, among others.
Given its importance and high usage, I was wondering how we might work together to make Hearthstone Park even better. Specifically, it would be wonderful to see the park equipped with proper bathroom facilities and a designated picnic area. Additionally, the installation of more trees to provide shade for the paddle ball court would greatly enhance the comfort of park-goers during the warmer months.
Your consideration and support in these matters would be greatly appreciated by the entire community. I am confident that these improvements would make Hearthstone Park an even more valuable asset to our town, fostering a greater sense of community and providing a more enjoyable recreational space for all.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to the possibility of working together to make these enhancements a reality.
Sincerely,
Response from Mayor Coles:
Hi Jacob
I appreciate the feedback. We are currently research bathroom facilities which could be placed in some of our parks. I will speak with our manager and public works director to look into additional improvements at Hearthstone.
Thanks
Ray
