Question:

Dear Mayor Coles,

WE VERY MUCH APPRECIATE ALL YOU DO FOR THE TOWN.

I live around the corner from the intersection of CLIFTON & COURTNEY. It’s a very busy intersection as BAIS FAIGA is on Courtney. There are a lot of children, cars and buses. Clifton is a very wide street which lends itself to cars going more than 25 mph. Worse , is, when there is a wedding at night and you can’t see pedestrians. It is extremely difficult to turn onto Clifton,e specially when you can’t see past the parked cars.

I have been requesting a 4 way stop sign there for at least 10 years now, from my personal friends in the local government. I was instrumental in getting them to put 4 way sops at a number of intersections but I hit a brick wall with this one. Is there any reason why this intersection is different? Your response would be greatly appreciated.
