Lakewood man on a walk finds two guns on the street

guns tlsA man walking with his son in Lakewood found two guns on the street, police confirm to TLS.

At approximately 9:40pm last night, Officers Daniel Umlauf and Tymur Zavalnyk responded to the area of Vine Street and Cedarbridge Avenue after a man, who was walking in the area, discovered two firearms.

The caller, a 31-year-old Lakewood man, stated that while walking with his young son, he oberserved two guns – a shot gun and a rifle, lying on the ground near a utility pole.

Further investigation revealed that the rifle was stolen out of Richmond, Vermont. The weapons were seized and pending further investigation.
