A Lakewood man is dead in what appears to be a drug overdose, officials confirmed to TLS.
Emergency personnel responded to the home shortly after 7PM and found a man unresponsive from an apparent overdose of heroin, offials said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man is said to be in his fifties.
Lakewood’s Detective Bureau and CSI are investigating.

Also, please use caution when using the term “Lakewood” as an adjective. It means different things to different people. to us, its unzere. If the guy is unfortunately dead, it really is not important to emphasize where his utility bills etc were mailed to.
Always sad to drugs destroy someone.

Zumy- I understand what you mean, but Lakewood belongs to frum and goyim alike, and every family feels Lakewood is theirs. The drugs are yenem but the family of the man is still part of the community.
