Lakewood Library To Close Temporarily Due To Bed Bugs

The Lakewood library will be closed from 1 PM Wednesday, July 27 through Thursday, July 28 after bed bugs were found in the book drop off box.

The closure decision was reached, through an “abundance of caution, for maintenance
purposes,” said Library Director Susan Quinn.

“We are assessing a situation related to the discovery of bed bugs in the book drops
outside the Branch,” the Director said.

The Branch will undergo a thorough cleaning.

Re-opening is scheduled for 9 AM Friday,
July 29.
