[COMMUNICATED] The Lakewood Kehilah is gearing up for the evening of chizuk for Chai Lifeline Lakewood’s Dinner at Ateres Chana (Bais Faiga Hall) on Wednesday, July 11th. Numerous pre-dinner events are taking place throughout Lakewood, affording the Kehilah a chance to hear first-hand from grateful parents how Chai Lifeline fulfills a vital role in helping families function while dealing with serious illness. In the words of one father, “they think of our needs before we think of them and then provide everything with the utmost sensitivity and professionalism”.
This past Thursday night a parlor meeting was hosted in Cedarwood Hills and Hampshire Heights at the home of Moshe Dovid Fischman. We heard firsthand from R’ Joel Lapidos about what Chai Lifeline accomplishes for so many families across town. Then Rabbi Sruli Fried MSW, NJ Regional Director explained how every Yochid can help themselves by partnering with Chai Lifeline.
Tonight Wednesday, June 27th there will be a parlor meeting in the Chestnut area hosted by Yisroel Meir Berkowitz at 1153 Tiffany Lane at 8:00 pm. Additional Parlor meetings are scheduled for Harvard area, Jackson, Toms River, Raintree and Westgate.
