Lakewood home burglarized while homeowners slept

Authorities are investigating after a Lakewood home was burglarized while the homeowners slept.

The burglar reportedly made entry through a window of the home on Friday night, and proceeded to burglarize the home. The burglar reportedly made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Lakewood’s Detective Bureau and CSI are investigating.

Why not write the area that this took place? I understand the owner would not want everyone to know what happened to him, but why not write the area….(without the exact street name…)
