[COMMUNICATED] The Lakewood community is uniting in a massive display of achdus in preparation for the Chai Lifeline annual reception, which will be taking place tonight in Ateres Chana – Bais Faiga hall.
Hundreds joined parlor meetings in neighborhoods around Lakewood, and thousands more will join the dinner as a source of chizuk to the volunteers, staff and most importantly, the families struggling with illness who have come to rely on Chai Lifeline at every step of their medical journey.
Harav Boruch Rabinowitz, Rav d’Kehilas Anshei Talymwar, will be the Master of Ceremonies, and R’ Dovi Sorotzkin and R’ Yitze Scheinerman will be presenting the Community Service Award to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, under the leadership of Dr. Bob Berg. Countless Lakewood families have been the grateful recipients of the unit’s cutting edge, culturally sensitive care.
As our kehillah grows, the need for Chai Lifeline has sadly grown as well. The number of children struggling with illness in the surrounding hospitals keeps growing, and Chai Lifeline has been there steadfastly for them, lightening their burdens at every turn.
Please join Chai Lifeline tonight and show support for this essential community organization.
