Lakewood First Aid Hosts Annual Brunch & Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for New Ambulance [VIDEO & PHOTOS]

Lakewood First Aid this afternoon held its annual brunch, along with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a brand-new ambulance.

Also during the event, several members were recognized for going above and beyond the call of duty in 2024.

The new ambulance, marking their third frontline vehicle, was officially unveiled and dedicated during the event. Lakewood Township Committeeman Meir Lichtenstein presented the squad with a proclamation from the Township, honoring their service to the Town.

Lakewood First Aid, a volunteer EMS squad, provides emergency medical services, vehicle extrication, water rescue, and other critical emergency services.

The squad responded to nearly 1,600 calls in 2024.
