Lakewood First Aid Holds Extrication Drill

LFA Extrication Drill picPHOTOS: Today, Lakewood First Aid held and extrication drill to train new members the extrication operation. The event was held at the EMS/LFA headquarters, also known as the OEM building, on Pine Street. Lakewood First Aid, an all Volunteer squad, serves as a backup for EMS, Lakewood’s paid squad.

The 4 new members recently became full fledged members after serving 12 months on the squad as  probationary members.

The squad now has a total of 28 volunteers. TLS.

  1. do they ever practice taking care of the victims? when will they practice treating patients don’t they need to learn and practice that also?
