  1. what a great idea , the kids look up to the Fire and Police as role models ….
great quote ” a childs mind is like wet cement impressions last forever “

  2. I think this is great for everyone. i have been trying to have a fire truck come by my camp for years. I would like to publicly thank the FD for this. I understand that our FD is a vol. department and FF will have to take time off from work or arrange there schedules for this. Chief Youmanns THANK YOU and to all of your FF.

    Pls stay safe.

What about a date and time when the firefighters aren’t working their primary jobs so they can attend and help out!!

Perhaps you can take time out of your day to do something for the volunteers. We do this, and work our normal jobs, and take care of our families, and watch over this community..Now if you think the volunteers are selfish for saying they will only do this on certain days well, we can go back to just once a year for a fire prevention day..how does that sound?
You will never get every firefighter out at every event..it just doesn’t work that way..that is why they call us volunteers
