The Lakewood Fire Department will once again be offering fire safety presentations for Lakewood’s children this Summer, Fire Chief Rodney Youmans tells TLS. The presentations will provide safety tips from firefighters and give children an opportunity to view the squad’s fire trucks and various pieces of emergency equipment.
All presentation this year will be taking place at Station 64, located on Monmouth Avenue and 1st Street.
The first presentation will take place next Tuesday, July 31, from 10 AM-2 PM.
Thereafter, there will be presentations each Tuesday and Thursday, between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM, for throughout the month of August.
Attn playgroups/daycamps- here’s your chance to get upclose to the firetrucks. The kids love it. And its a free trip.
/do you have to reserve a slot?
Yes its free,,the firefighters give their time free as they do 365 days a year. But no one in this town seems to care anymore because as the firefighters need your donations no one donates anymore but still wants the firefighters to give ,give give and no one gives back,,so as your children enjoys ringing the bells and seeing the big red trucks . REMEMBER to donate
Does anyone know if their offering rides on the fire trucks? Obviously I would be willing to pay.
Whats the non emergency telephone number so I can find out more information.
We are not offering rides on fire trucks
